Earth Hour 2009– Don’t forget to switch off the light – Vote for Earth

Earth Hour is an international event created by World Wide Fund of Nature (WWF) which needs everyone all ages, households and businesses to switch off light or electrical for one hour to vote for Earth. If we leave them “on” that means vote for Global Warming.



Earth Hour is starting in Sydney, Australia in 2007 at 7.30 pm local time when 2.2 million homes and business switched off their lights for one hour. Earth Hour 2008, vote for Earth growth up to 50 million people which are 35 countries around the world and over 400 cities which are include the Empire State Building (New York City), Sears Tower (Chicago), Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco), Bank of America Plaza (Atlanta), Sydney Opera House (Sydney, Australia), Wat Arun Buddhist Temple (Bangkok, Thailand), the Colosseum (Rome, Italy), Royal Castle (Stockholm, Sweden), London's City Hall (England), Space Needle (Seattle), the CN Tower (Toronto, Canada) and SM Mall of Asia & The Giant Globe (Manila, Philippines).



Earth Hour 2009 begins on 28 March 2009, Saturday 8.30pm local time with goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights. Nice now currently, 2712 cities in 83 Countries are committed for the Earth Hour 2009. I hope the number will grow up every day. Let’s do VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour....Yeah and don’t forget to join the world for Earth Hour.
