Tata Nano – World’s Cheapest Car

When I read about Nano in Daily Express news, I like to know more about this World Cheapest Car. Tata Motors officially launched Nano on Monday with the price $2000-$2500. It becomes popular because of the price which is cheap and affordable for new car. Some people said buy motorcycles or motorbikes are cheaper than car. How about Tata Nano with the price $2000?

What is the characteristic of this Tata Nano that make it so cheap?

Here is about Tata Nano Standard version

Engine - 2 cylinder SOHC petrol Bosch multi-point fuel injection (single injector) all aluminium 624 cc
Transmission- 4 speed synchromesh with overdrive in 4th
Length – 3.1 m
Width - 1.5m
Height - 1.6m
Fuel capacity -15 L
No power steering

You will have to pay more

For Tata Nano CX
Have heating and air-conditioning (HVAC), two-tone seats, parcel shelf, booster-assisted brakes, fold-down rear seat with nap rest.

For Tata Nano LX
Have the features of CX plus complete fabric seats, central locking, front power windows, body coloured exteriors in three premium colours, fog lamps, electronic trip meter, cup holder in front console, mobile charger point, and rear spoiler. Many of these features are not available on current entry-level small cars in the country.

In my opinion this car is nice and affordable. Even has much scarcity about this car, we can still upgrade it slowly time to time when we have enough budgets. Not suitable for racing or drift hehe.. Just for normal and family transport.

Tata Nano is really a amazing car from Tata.
But unfortunately the car is priced higher that they promised. They promised it to be 1lakh rupees but it is 20-30 thousand more. But it is still the cheapest.
